"I have always been able to find myself and reach others with my art, although I was not always consciously aware of it. Artistic expression has just been a part of my existence…like breathing; and like breathing, it was a gift sometimes taken for granted.
The joys and trials of life have lessons to teach us, and I have found inspiration in both. My highest achievement has been to integrate art into my life in such a way that I not only energize my own imagination, but also share my enthusiasm for artistic expression with my Art Students.
Most recently I have endeavored to explore some familiar expressions of the Jewish faith. The imagery transcends time. The paintings give a glance at the age old traditions in a contemporary setting. In my opinion the symbols embrace life and faith and mark the passage of time with the signposts of both feasts and fasts."
