Artist's Statement & Bio

Rina Goldhagen

" Art is, and has always been, my Passion!
I have had many shows; ongoing commission work; and I offer private lessons in Drawing and Watercolor.

I consider myself to be a versatile artist who is comfortable with both representational and abstract techniques. Although many of my works are strongly influenced by the Impressionist style of painting, I also create representative pieces. I love to work with water color because of its translucence but I also create art using acrylics, oil paint, and charcoal.

Through Artist's Eyes showcases my most recent project,"Images of Faith", which is a series of 12 watercolors depicting traditional Jewish themes. Reproductions of these works (as giclees and greeting cards) may be purchased online. "
